Grace Kids Lesson July 12th
Talk about it:
Craft: 20 min
Yes or No Signal
uncoated paper bowls (2 per child)
red and green dot stickers
red and green washable markers
unsharpened pencils (1 per child)
Say: God wants us to do what we say. There are lots of ways we can tell someone we’ll do
Ask: • If your mom asks you to pick up your toys, what are some ways you can tell her you will?
Are there ways to say it without using words? Kids may say they can tell her “Yes, I will,” give a thumbs-up,
or nod their head in agreement.
Say: Let’s make something to help us show our friends and families what we’re going to do.
Our signals helped us tell people what we were going to do. I could trust what you said
you’d do—and that’s a great thing! It’s important for friends to be trustworthy so we can have strong
friendships! That’s why God wants us to do what we say.
