We meet every Sunday at 10:00 AM @ 464 E. Walnut St. in Pasadena, CA 91101 - We'd love for you to join us!

What to Expect When You Visit Us

Here's an overview of what to expect when you visit on a Sunday morning. At about 9:30 a.m., coffee is served in the main foyer of the church. This is a casual time to meet members and other visitors. If you bring children, you can sign them in (starting at 9:45 a.m.) to our children's ministry, lovingly called "Grace Kids".

We have an Information Table in the foyer usually staffed by an usher or a greeter who can answer your questions. Here, you can find out more about us, grab an information/ welcome packet, sign up for classes or just get some general info about our church.

How Should I Dress?

People usually dress casually - it's definitely: come as you are!

We start our service with a time of music and singing; most of us stand while we sing and some of us raise our hands in praise. The worship is contemporary and the songs are chosen more for their content than style. We sing what we believe and what we are most grateful for - that Christ died for our sins and that He rose for our new life in Him. We usually spend about 25 minutes in worship.  We make a few announcements about things going on in the life of the church and give church members a chance to worship with tithes and offerings.

What about Children?

Children can be signed into the various classrooms when you first walk in.  Our GRACE KIDS sign in tables are in the foyer. If you have a toddler - you can drop them off directly in the toddler room. A teacher will greet you and assist you with checking in your child. This class is offered for the entire length of the service.

The older children: Pre-K, K and 1st-5th grades are checked in at the GRACE KIDS table and you and your child will be given matching wrist bands.  After worship, these children will be dismissed to meet their teachers in the back of the auditorium and will be escorted to their classes.  After the service is done, parents can collect their children at the classrooms by showing their wristbands.

One of the pastors will then take the next 40 minutes to read from the Bible and speak about that text. He will seek to explain what the text means, how it fits within the whole scope of the Bible, how it relates to Christ and how it relates to us as the Gospel: the Good News that we are commissioned to remember, live out and share.

We'd love to pray with you!

After the preaching, we like to include an opportunity to pray for people. Sometimes there is a specific response to what was preached and sometimes we seek to make room for God to meet people's needs, whatever they might be at the time.

Service usually ends at 11:45am.

The meeting is dismissed and parents go to pick up children in their Sunday School classes. Some people will stay in the sanctuary to pray and share further with one another, but many people simply move out to the lobby to just take time to talk with friends over coffee.

We hope that you will come see us- and find your new church home with us!
